The idea of the meetings was to present the results of the homework they had done around media literacy, the work of official media resources in their region and their country, the online behavior of their peers in terms of sharing information on social media.
In Funchal, young people met with the representatives of Associação Literacia para os Media e Jornalismo (ALPMJ), Jornal da Madeira and key representatives of partner associations. In Sumy, young people met with the representatives of the city hall press center, the Sumy State University media center, a journalism club and the youth center.

During the meetings, the participants discussed the need to further develop education in media literacy, digital literacy and critical thinking among young people and start actions regarding including these topics into curricula at schools.
